WEED-FIX POWER DRIVE
Verticle tines, adjustable for working perimeter between rows, attached to gearboxes. The gearboxes are connected in line to a parallelogram frame and driven through a central shaft by a hydraulic motor. For multiple beds, PTO to inline attachment pumps with pump to each motor. Plant shields adjustable for width and height straddle the row to protect the plants. Adjustable wheels determine the precisetine penetration. Shields are adjustable in all directions. The shield height adjustment determines the amount of soil to flow in to the row to smother weeds, no soil flows into the row with shields right down for crops like lettuce. Leaf lifters are attached to the shields to lift ground hugging leaves. Crescent knives can be mounted on to the main frame shaving the sides of the beds with hillers directly behind to move the soil back to the sides of the beds. Depthy wheels are set to determine the optimum penetration of the beet blades.
